| Description: | The tenth-semester design project, the final course of the architectural engineering programme. The final-year project is an independent, creative task designed to demonstrate the architectural engineering knowledge acquired during the course of study; its completion within the framework of the ‘Final-Year Design’ module and its public presentation at the final-year defence confirm that the student possesses the knowledge and competences required for professional practice, as set out in the Training and Learning Outcomes. the knowledge and competences required for professional practice. The aim of the module is for the student to demonstrate their aptitude for individual conceptualisation and architectural creation. Accordingly, it involves independent design work supervised by the supervisor and subject-area advisers. The term-long project is supplemented by several joint consultations and design presentations, with the ultimate aim of preparing for the degree defence – a presentation of the design before a committee and the defence of the design. In the case of a Specialisation Degree, the focus shifts towards the field of study represented by a particular specialisation. For outstanding students on the course who, in addition to mastering general architectural engineering knowledge, have demonstrated exceptional performance in a discipline taught at the faculty, there is an opportunity to undertake a Diploma Thesis of Excellence, subject to specific regulations. Short description: The subject will be fulfilled through the student’s work with the contribution of the department’s consultants. The progress is followed by consultations, the presentation and critics in public and studio work-conversation. The design program is chosen and elaborated by the student and accepted by the department. The plans of the establishment’s have to be completed m=1:100, or m=1:200 with constant consultation of the associate departments as follows: Parts of the project to be completed: 1.
